Brittany and Andy were married on June 28, 2014 in a beautiful ceremony at Holy Family Catholic Church followed by a fun reception at Renaissance Hotel in Schaumburg. Their classic and romantic wedding was photographed beautifully by Gina and Tony.

Since the church is so beautiful and big, we were able to really incorporate Brittany’s floral dreams throughout. To maximize the wedding design, we integrated the tall designs in the ceremony, elevated by our white pedestals, framing the couple at the altar and lining the aisle. A great way to really personalize the ceremony.
For her bridal bouquet, Brittany wanted texture but no greenery, and lightweight was KEY! So what could be more perfect than the classic romance of peonies? For her bridesmaids we made rounded clutch bouquets of the classics: pink peonies and soft peach juliet roses to complement their charcoal purple dresses. Andy’s boutonniere was a classic gardenia, which if anyone knows, has the scent of romance. I loved that it was incorporated in the wedding!
Rennaissance Hotel, is an amazing venue, the pictures speak for themselves since Gina and Tony really show it off! For the reception, the florals were the showstoppers! They had two styles of guest centerpieces that balanced their gold chiavari chairs and gray-purple lamour linens. The first was our classic tall, trumpet vase topped with a romantic rounded design of hydrangea – white and creamy green, royal purple rodeo, Polo roses, pink and lavender garden roses, and purple stock. The second style were lush, rounded arrangements filling a low, glass compote bowl. These florals also included classic “Moody Blues” roses and romantic pink lisianthus.
To highlight Brittany and Andy’s sweetheart table, we filled it with a long, low, and lush design composed of coordinating blooms of purple stock, white peonies, creamy hydrangea, garden roses, and orchids surrounded by candles.
And to soften the cake, we incorporated a few peonies here and there to really up the romance factor.

I’ll never forget this wedding, which was the last time I worked with my flower buddy, and now angel Natalie. I took some time with this wedding as it was near and dear to my heart, and I really wanted to take the time to say the right things. Brittany and Andy were the best to work with and I love that this was my last wedding with Natalie. I cherish that I had such an amazing friend and I’m so thankful that I have this memory.
