What does “modern romance” look like? Let’s show you with Taylor and Arturo’s wedding this past July! It was so amazing! I can’t wait to show you all the pretty! From the gorgeous blooms, unique centerpieces, to the amazing escort card board, there’s a lot to talk about for their fabulous wedding!
It all started with the dress. When we sat down, Taylor had a concept in mind, and the biggest thing was enhancing her dress. Well of course we always work with the dress, but this dress isn’t just any ol’ dress, it was BLUSH! How my heart pitter pattered! Taylor let me get creative with a variety of roses ranging from a creamy blush to a “rose quartz” and accents of metallics. Just sheer perfection, don’t you agree? And, since the bridesmaids were wearing pewter dresses and we wanted to keep things simple, we went with classic rose bouquets touched with silver foliage and metallic embellishments.
Ah the reception, Noah’s in Naperville, IL is a new venue with a great look! And being that we worked with Taylor when we were designing her sister’s February wedding, we already had an idea of her style and preferences. How do we show off the “modern romance” you ask? Well, we used terrariums and modern geometric shapes with classic blooms of course! AND we used an element that was in both Florio girls’ weddings, adding a fairy tale element to the design with copper stargazer lights. We needed something clear and pretty that wouldn’t congest the table but would enhance the design, and we also created custom table numbers with Greenstar Paperie! Love working with our favorite friendors to overcome design obstacles!
Let’s talk about this escort card board! I still get so excited about it! First we have to give credit for the gorgeousness to Greenstar Paperie as we just fluffed it with florals, luxurious linens, and decorative geometric shapes. I threw a million ideas at Lynda, the boss behind GP, and she made the magic happen with Taylor’s guest list and design elements. Being that we had a grand display for this, we needed to show off every ounce of the amazingness.
Thank you to all the amazing vendors that were a part of this awesome day!
