Caitlin + Brian, Patrick Haley Mansion, Joliet, IL

As the weather is trying to become warmer, I wanted to share a stunning and bright wedding with you! These rich jewel tones will floor you. Working with Caitlin and Brian was such a pleasure. From our first meeting with Michelle of Brindle and Oak, it was a seamless process. Caitlin knew she wanted something elegant, yet bold, along with a hint of “art deco.” Her venue choice was the perfect match for her wedding vibe. Patrick Haley Mansion is the perfect location filled with history and elegance.

As always, let’s dive into the bloom details! Caitlin’s bouquet was PERFECTION! She let me go crazy with her color palette of berry, eggplant, and deep green tones. The bridal bouquet was composed of exquisite garden roses, dahlias, ranunculus, and de-petaled sunflowers, and the luscious foliage, which of course was complementing the bridesmaid bouquets. Why did we remove the petals from the sunflowers? Because they added an interesting texture to the bouquet and the design. It was definitely an unexpected element and Caitlin loved all the little surprises. The textures were also the perfect complement to her stunning dress. Isn’t that train so gorgeous?

Since the bridesmaids were wearing a variety of jewel toned dresses, we created a cohesive looking by giving them luscious foliage bouquets. The boutonnieres were a petite version of the bridesmaid bouquets. Oh how I love these!

The venue has so many gold elements so we wanted to enhance them by utilizing gold mercury votives and vases throughout the space. Did you see the “King’s Table?” The runner, the bouquets, the m&m’s! Since the bouquets were so unique, they were the perfect element to provide height and depth to the design. Centerpieces for the guest tables showcased stemmed candle holders and luxurious votives. The floral was showcased in footed compote vases. Those blooms were so much fun to design! Jewel toned floral such as dahlias, ranunculus, a variety of garden roses, and with unique and elegant greenery.

We love working with Vanilla Sugar Bakery! That cake is as delicious as it is gorgeous! We added the lush bed of greenery around the base of the cake, and the blooms we provided were perfectly placed by the Vanilla Sugar experts!

Such a beautiful wedding. Thanks to all the vendors who worked so hard to make this a beautiful wedding. And thanks to Caitlin and Brian for allowing us to “floralize” your wedding.Wishing you all the best for years to come!
