A rainy day in Tinley Park couldn’t put a damper on Carrie and Steven’s wedding day! Carrie was referred by one of our favorite photographers, I couldn’t wait to bring her vision to life. We also share a love of puppies and we both have German Shepherds. Isn’t hers so cute all dressed up?!
Carrie’s bridal bouquet was a rounded, hand-tied bouquet of white blooms, enhanced by grey and soft grey/green foliage. Composed of ranunculus, ruffled lisianthus, roses, miniature garden roses, dusty miller, silver brunia, variegated italian pittosporum, and eucalyptus. For her bridesmaids, we created similar clutch bouquets blending to vintage purple tones and wrapped in silver ribbon to complement their dusty purple dresses.
The adorable flower girls wore the sweetest crowns with streaming ribbons and tossed lavender rose petals during the ceremony.
As much as we love first look photos, how sweet is the look on Steven’s face as he saw Carrie for the first time making her way down the aisle?! I love how we incorporated the florals at the church; Pew clusters are always a nice way to keep the overall day cohesive.
We love getting to add floral to sweet wedding cakes! And did you see that adorable message on their cake cutting tools? Also, are obsessing over that marble dance floor like we are? And that rain photo! Ed & Aileen are magical every single time we work with them!!
Thank you to Carrie and Steven for having us “floralize” your beautiful day. It truly is an honor to have worked with such an amazing couple. Wishing you a million years of happiness!
