Melanie and Ryan’s love story began at Bourbon Street on the South Side of Chicago and culminated in a fun and colorful wedding day at Silver Lake Country Club. The vibe of their wedding was modern, clean, and classic and we loved their punch palette of watermelon tones blending oranges, pinks, yellows, and cream giving way to the warmth of summer.
Melanie carried a rounded and hand-tied bouquet of classic blooms and muted tones of the wedding palette consisting of lush garden roses, textural ranunculus, ruffled lisianthus, classic roses, miniature garden roses, stock, and a touch of greens. Her bouquet perfectly complemented her off-white lace gown. Her bridesmaids carried clutch bouquets in a similar design, but with a focal bloom of garden roses, all wrapped in a pewter silver ribbon designed to pop against their punch colored floor-length dresses.
Silver Lake Country Club has such beautiful grounds and the perfect outdoor ceremony space so little had to be done besides enhancing the stationary arbor with two floral clusters of coordinating wedding blooms that asymmetrically framed the bride and groom.
We designed several different centerpieces with the “punchy pastels” theme all composed of hydrangeas, roses, miniature garden roses, lisianthus, stock, and greens. Incorporating lanterns, candles, and wooden vases. Capturing the true style of this special couple!
Thank you to Melanie and Ryan for having us “floralize” your beautiful day. It truly is an honor to have worked with such an amazing couple. Wishing you a million years of happiness!
